Text Horizontal Alignment

Property Type: Static

Default Value:

  • Center (Dialog, Macro and Upload control)
  • Left (Hyperlink control)

Controls the horizontal alignment of text in the control.

Choose from:

  • Center
  • Left
  • Right

To Change the Value

Ensure the property is a static property (the gray orb  will be displayed alongside the property name)

The default value of the static property can be changed by using the drop down:

  1. Click in the property for the control to be changed
  2. Click the drop down list at the end of the property value field
  3. Select the required alignment for the text on the control

Examples

LeftPlaces the text to the left of the control
RightPlaces the text to the right of the control

A rule can also be built for this property by changing the type to dynamic.

If(DWVariblePictureType="OnLeft.png","Right","Left")Changes the Text Horizontal Alignment property to be Right when the variable PictureType is OnLeft.png, otherwise the rule will result in Left.

Value set in Form Designer. For DriveWorks projects static properties can be made Dynamic by double clicking the gray radio button.
