How To: Find DriveWorks Solo License Keys

Introduction

When you register for the DriveWorks Solo evaluation you are issued a temporary code. This will be sent in an email to the email address you supplied on the registration screen. Once you decide to purchase DriveWorks Solo a permanent code is created and also sent to the registered email address.

In the event the email has been blocked, or you delete the email your license keys can be viewed on the DriveWorks Solo web site

Find your License Key

  1. Go to www.driveworkssolo.com and click the link at the top left of the home page to log onto your account.
  2. Enter the details you supplied when the account was created in the Login to DriveWorks Solo section. (There are links to resend password or username if you have forgotten this)
  3. Click Login
  4. Click the View your license keys link at the top right of the page.
  5. All license keys assigned to you will be listed under the Your DriveWorks Solo License Keys: section

Find which License Key has been used on a machine

To find the license key that has been used on a machine that has DriveWorks Solo installed, do the following:

  1. Go to Program Files
  2. Click on DriveWorks Solo
  3. Click on DriveWorks Solo License Manager

The following information will be displayed:

  • DriveWorks Solo License Code
  • Type of license eg Full (Permanent) or Temporary
  • Date Activated
  • Expiry Date (Temporary License only)
  • Days Remaining (Temporary License Only)

About the DriveWorks Solo License Code

The license code consists of six blocks of five alpha-numeric characters. The first block identifies the product and version number the license code belongs to. The remaining five blocks are a unique identifier linked to the company who has requested the license code.

First Block of the License CodeDescription
SOLV8Belongs to DriveWorks Solo Version 8.
SOLV9Belongs to DriveWorks Solo Version 9.
SOL14Belongs to DriveWorks Solo Version 14.

It is important the correct license code is activated with the corresponding version of DriveWorks Solo.

You cannot use a license code from a previous version with a newer version of DriveWorks Solo.
