This document describes the types of rules that can be applied to models that have advanced feature parameters captured.
Driving advanced feature dimensions increases model generation time. Where possible capture feature dimensions (distances, numbers and angles) as dimensions rather than an advanced feature parameter.
During model generation captured dimensions are driven before captured advanced feature parameters. If the advanced feature parameter has also been captured as a dimension the value being driven into the advanced feature parameter will override the captured dimension.
Parameter | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
Thickness | Distance | Set the overall thickness of the rib |
EnableDraft | True/False | Enable a draft angle on the rib |
DraftAngle | Angle | Set the draft angle of the rib |
DraftOutward | True/False | Set the rib to draft outwards |
DraftFromWall | True/False | Sets whether the rib's draft is from wall or from sketch plane |
ExtrusionDirection | True/False | Set whether the rib extrudes normal or parallel to the sketch |
IsTwoSided | True/False | Set the sketch line to be the midpoint of the rib |
ReverseThicknessDir | True/False | Set the direction of the rib thickness from the sketch line |
FlipSide | True/False | Set the direction of the extrusion from the sketch line |
Type | True/False | Set the continuity type of a "Normal to sketch" extrusion to linear or natural |
