Info: SOLIDWORKS System Options
This document outlines the various settings that should be applied to optimize SOLIDWORKS for generating models using DriveWorks.
These settings could also apply when capturing model data.
SOLIDWORKS System Options
SOLIDWORKS system options can be found from the SOLIDWORKS Tools menu, select Options:

| Performance | Automatically load components lightweight | Uncheck |
| Performance | Always resolve sub-assemblies | Check |
| Performance | Check out-of-date lightweight components | Don't Check |
| Performance | Resolve lightweight components | Always |
| Performance | Rebuild assembly on load | Always |
| Assemblies | Use Large Assembly Mode to improve performance.
This option is not available in SOLIDWORKS 2020 and newer. | Uncheck |
| Assemblies | Use Lightweight mode and Large Assembly Settings when the number of components exceeds: | Uncheck |
| Assemblies | Use Large Design Review mode when the number of components exceeds: | Uncheck |
